2008 Year End Sales Report

Like the rest of Naples the single family homes here in the Shores have all lost a lot of their value, we actually had 8 homes sold on the MLS and 2 private sales 2 of these were Foreclosures, our inventory of homes for sale at the moment is 8 with a price range of $230,000 to $374,900 this is way down from last December when we had 23 for sale so maybe we have finally reached the bottom and hope 2009 will see an upward movement in value for a change.

One of the homes sold in September was on the MLS but had expired I met the new owner last weekend when they were moving in and that is how I found out.

The Shore Sales for 2008



We finally are seeing action in the Shores and the Preserves the year started off very slow, Naples saw the first increase in sales in March and it looks as if April will also present the first positive sales numbers for over 28 months, We in The Shores are finally catching up in April.


I personally have been very busy with clients looking for property in the last month and open houses are getting more visitors, but the season is coming to an end and I hope we see a late flourish in the market.


We have 1 foreclosure listed on the MLS at the moment in The Shores and 2 Short Sale listed in The Preserves, although I think we will see more in the coming months
