The Shore Sales for 2008

We finally are seeing action in the Shores and the Preserves the year started off very slow, Naples saw the first increase in sales in March and it looks as if April will also present the first positive sales numbers for over 28 months, We in The Shores are finally catching up in April.

I personally have been very busy with clients looking for property in the last month and open houses are getting more visitors, but the season is coming to an end and I hope we see a late flourish in the market.

We have 1 foreclosure listed on the MLS at the moment in The Shores and 2 Short Sale listed in The Preserves, although I think we will see more in the coming months

March 2008 Sales Report

Well the Good News is we know have some action going on in The Shores

2008 has seen a slow start to sales in our community but spring has sprung and we have 3 properties under contract 2 Condominiums in the Preserve and 1 Attached Villa, my peers are telling me home sales under $300,000 have seen a increase in sales for the first time in 28 months, maybe we have finally reached bottom I hope so.

I hope we have stopped the bleeding and in the coming months clear some of the property off of the Multi Listing Service at the moment we have 12,084 active listings so as our values will once again make some gains.

I have been getting some really good quotes on home insurance in the last few months and it seems the are leveling out a bit, but you need to shop around and use a good agency call me with any questions and my recommendations.

January 2008 Sales Report for the Shores and the Preserve

Well not a promising start to 2008 with no Sales at all in January 2008

Looking over last year with prices falling back to 2004 prices, homes are sitting on the market for a long time with very few buyers' out there. It is a really tough time in the business right now with new construction prices being cut it is affecting the resale market.

Looking back over last years sales in the Shores we had 12 homes sold an average of 1 per month.

The Preserve did not fair as well with only 9 Condos being sold.
